Database(s) to copy?
« on: December 06, 2014, 10:26:30 PM »
I'd like to be able to move data between locations to simplify things for each location. With SSDC, it's just one database, which can easily be saved, copied, and loaded at a new location.

Is it possible to do the same thing with RCS64? If so, what databases do I need to copy? Where are they located? Is there any data that cannot be transferred?

Well its posible but not a good way to go, because all data is stored in the files lige comport, registration keys and so on. But maybe a future feature, could be to import/export events and series, but not sure how to handle this..

OK, so not possible for now, but maybe in the future. Yes, it would be nice to have the ability in the future, especially when series and seasons are filled out a bit more.

I don't want to analyze things, I just want to be able to bring the data on a USB drive so that it can be easily moved between tracks. My club runs a variety of tracks, rather than just one.

Basically moving the data between different PC/laptops running RCS64. Yeah, I think that this would be a nice to have feature. but how easy it is to implement depends on how the data is stored/loaded.
