Thanks Martin tried the comma, it wouldn't even type it in the box....it only accepted a decimal...
New development, gremlins are back, done some further research trial and error etc...have tried to just get the ftdi cable for the Pb to connect on its own through the hub.... Mostly wouldn't connect...When it did it dropped out different things like brake buttons and lane change etc (with one car on track, hate to know what would happen with 6 cars-presume it would get worse)
Now I have just read an information white paper referring to compatibility issues with the ftdi chip and USB 3.0 particularly when used with a hub....they did indicate it should work but they couldn't guarantee it...nor would they rewrite the windows certified drivers... So I think this would be the root cause of my issues, as soon as I remove the hub and plug the ftdi chip USB into my SP3 direct it connects every time without fail...
So users take note the USB cables that we use for the Pb from Ricorocket may have problems with hubs on newer hardware...so no smart sensors for my pit lane until something happens with drivers on the ftdi chip....I guess I should have spent my money on the new gulf Lola Aston Martin from slot.it instead of smart sensors (with my current hardware situation) bugger!
