At this point about 4-5 people are testing the new release of RCS64 with some nice new features and improvements. We hope to release within a few weeks.

After next release, r(e)ally!

35
In the track call window is the option to disqualify a driver.

36
Agree, but I am sure a lot of people will not understand, so if we want this to work we should make sure power is always sufficient to at least get around the track. Steps of 2% sound good.

37
I think I understand Gio.

Future Development / Re: Change to Series sequence
« on: September 01, 2015, 08:23:19 AM »
Hi Gio,

What you describe I would say is already possible.
As long as you use the same series name, you can have  a single event each time (day) you wish. That event can exist of just a race. If you make an event with for example a 50 laps GP, with a certain series name, it will add the points of the race result to the already existing series points (with the same name)
Or do I not understand your suggestion?

39
We have thought about reducing power when you get more damage, but this will only work if people use 100% power, otherwise after 2 damage points a car might stop, especially when you use magnets.
It would only be possible as a 'pro 'feature, where you enter a minimum power setting at max damage points, and RCS interpolates the different values for each damage point.

Enforcing a throttle profile is what we did in old RCS version for weather simulation, and we have thought about using something similar for (random) car failure. But a while ago (2-3 yrs) when we suggested this, people did not like the idea.

Just read it on SF Greg, and I agree, we should look into that. The management we have now is good, but basic and time for an update/improvement, after upcoming release. Would love to use your input and experience again.

Thanks for posting Martin!
It should be added that we are also working on a QUICK START mode for quick practice racing, and a Retro-style refuel option when you only have fuel load simulation selected.

Issues with version 4 / Re: Start Event

Well done, enjoy the software!

43
Well done, still going well ?

Welcome Gheudebert!

1. Analog not supported in F3
2. No, you don't need a pitlane or sensors. You can refuel/cahnge tyres etc anywhere on the track by pressing LC, or LC/BRK, depending on how you want It. It will open the pit menu.

Having said this, adding a pitlane, even without sensors, will add a lot to your track, otherwise you will be blocking the lane for other drivers.
