Dynamic breaking.
« on: May 04, 2015, 10:48:44 AM »
Hi.
Having a comment that "dynamic breaking" option is to "brutal" >:(. Is there a way to make the breaking more smoother? Or is the another way to achieve to obtain a smoother breaking?

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Hi
There are multiple ways to alter braking effect, have a look in the tyres menu which allows differing brake delays to be set.

Hi.
Thank you for your tip. I will try it out.
It would be nice if dynamic breaking could be adjusted without using tyre settings.

My approach is to NOT use dynamic brake only manual: I blip the button just before the corner to slow down enough to slide through. It needs a bit of practice but you can achieve a smooth driving. Using the tyre settings for this is not ideal because it only increases the delay between pressing the button and applying the brakes. I think they might work on an adjustable brake for the next release.

Another approach would be to buy a slot.it or scorpius controller.

I never figured out the braking thing.... no matter what setting I have breaks stop the car dead so unless Im on a 100ft track they seem pretty pointless.

Perhaps Im using crap cars. :/

Hi.
Ended up to use throttle profiles.
After some testing, I ended up with using one of following profiles:
S.TRLV EXT
S.TRLV
