We are working on saving data in database, but need input for making a good viewer.
The database format will be a few tables in *.dbf format.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
http://youtu.be/-CiNPF6VvZI (http://youtu.be/-CiNPF6VvZI)
It is a Pre Version
Summary for each driver in the fields above
Position in the race for each round as a graph or in a list
Lap times each round as a graph or in a list
Distance to the guide, fuel consumption, tire wear, ect. ect. ect.
Driver and telemetry data individually selected and deselected

Nice video Balu,

I really like the graph at 4 seconds - It really tells the story of the race

Also like the graph at 6 seconds.

Table at 10 seconds is simple and very easy to use.

Table at 14 again tells the story of the race well.

So, other than the obvious lap times I think race position on each lap is a great thing to see.

Also time between each racer on each lap is good.

Fuel level over the duration of the race for each driver.

All of these I saw in Balu's video.

It would be nice (especially during practice) to get an average lap time for the stint, with the posibility to subtract all laps with a time longer than x sec (i.e. the laps with deslotings). I also would like to see this time during driving. I think it would be a good tool for evanuating different gearings.

Hi MattiasC
The analysis works only after the session. But there you can set a x sec time for deslotings or if you Rest.

"I think it would be a good tool for evanuating different gearings"
This is like my thought to use more Cars in one session. In the "Requirements for using RCS64" "Switch driver and or cars without the training to interrupt."

Martin,
I only have the old file of Marcel. In the video data has been used from another RCS. Where you save the racing data, I have not found in the new Version!
If you have current files you can send me a mail. I have soon holiday then I can  perform further experiments.

Today Many windows versions only allow you to save data in your local App folder. So RCS64 is saving all data here:

It different from user to user but on my PC its here:

C:\Users\mschmidt\AppData\Roaming\RCS64\result

So you have the files your self..

OK I found the Files ,
They do not find it with the search in explorer.
I take a look and give you an answer

The files are slightly different. All values are now filled with "value". In the old version, only the value was available. This weekend I'll revise the import filters.

Hi,
during a Trackcall, the laptime goes up, is it posible to stop the laptime during the Trackcall. So the Display from the Laptimes does not look like the swiss alps  ;)
: Re: Race statisics
: martin December 11, 2014, 05:57:56 AM
I really see your point, but not easy, because when I start a race the APB internal timer start. And there are no way to pause it. When a car pass the SF I got Car id and timer so I have to calculate the different between tha last time SF and the new SF to see the lap time. So If I restart the timer when a track call happen, then the lap time will mess up, then I could make a tempary timer running when trackcall is on, and descrease it when race starts, but a little complex, and dont know it will work. I will mark this as a thing to figure out.. Not sure it will work..

A question to all reader!
What do you want to seeing after a Practice, Qualification or Race?
-Raceposition
-Laptimes
-Fastest Lao
-Racposition during a Race
anything else?

How to display?
-Raceposition in a Table or/ and in a graphic account
-Laptimes in a Table or/ and in a graphic account
.....
.....
....

Voice your ideas and concepts
Then the race analysis is better meet your needs

Fuel %/lap
Tyre type and %/lap

Long time ago.
With the new RCS64 Version it is possible is to make the consumption and tire wear visually.
Here are some pictures of the current diagrams.

The actions in the race
(http://www.raceway.eukradohr.de/images/SCM_Bilder/racestorry2.JPG)
Pos = Racepositon
* Laptime
>>>> = Seconds to Leader
BR: = Brake use
TC: Trackcall use

The difference with braking points = 0 , Tyre wear is significantly different, as if braking points = 5
(http://www.raceway.eukradohr.de/images/SCM_Bilder/Reifen0.JPG)

The consumption figures of each driver
(http://www.raceway.eukradohr.de/images/SCM_Bilder/Verbrauch.JPG)

Since the tool is still in development, is the tool is not currently in RCS64.

Balu
