Hi
I've converted all my sound files from mp3 into wav format and them compressed them into 8 bit and they all work in rcs64 v2 and v4.
I've got them in two zip files both of which I've passed on to Marcel but as the team is on there hols at the present it may be a while before you see them.
If however you would like them sooner then please pm me your email address and I will send the files over, there are some which are already included but there are many new ones and even ones I've joined together to make some great into the pitlane sounds and race end sounds, there is a great air jack sound which is in its original format and other versions where I've included it in other sounds.
One thing I have noticed is at the end of certain races, most notably dtm there is a fireworks display,so now there is a very good fireworks sound and also files that I've joined using the fireworks sound.
It may be that RCS can accept 16 bit stereo format but for now all the files are in there smallest size which is the above mentioned 8 bit.
I will see if I can link or somehow send the file convertor/joiner I've been using its free and very simple to use,and as I found out the other day,if you just want to convert then you can load all your files in at the same time and just hit format/quality/convert,it's that easy.
If you try to stretch the files to high,32 bit the RCS crashes.
