Adjustable dynamic breaking
« on: May 05, 2015, 02:41:34 PM »
Hi.
It would be nice if dynamic breaking could be adjusted without using tyre settings.

Hi
In car pro should add adjustable on the fly brakes but you will need Scorpius throttle to be able to use it.

Or RCS64 could apply pulsing brake (like ABS) when the brake button is pressed. the program could allow the user to select several option on the pulsing frequency. This should work on a stock chip and firmware. No need to ICP. I think that there is already a suggestion about this from Mr Flippant.

Hi
This is entirely possible and has been a feature in Ssdc for the last 4 years.

Hi Ade, with pulsating brakes you mean, like Gios suggest's ? Yes, that could work.

Hi Marcel
It is already been suggested by Mr Flippant here: http://rcs64.notlhosting.com/forum/index.php?topic=131.0
There is quite a list of suggestions here: where are you guys planning to be back on hacking?

Sadly we must announce the speed off new feature/improvements will never get on with the same speed as before. Family and other priorities in our lives have taken over.

The future development will be like 10% off what we have used in the past. So the prioritizing of the issues/features will be announced later.

hi Martin
I see. Understandable. How about making the code for RCS64 open source? Others could contribute to bring it forward.

Open source wont work, I would spent too much time supporting, but I have an open question the last 4 years, does anyone have experience in Labview, if so I could need some help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi.
I just visited a friend of mine, he is using SSDC and he showed me how this software can adjust dynamic breaking.
Personally I prefer RCS 64.
