Things you should know about v4 -

Individuel Car Fuel Burn Rate either needs to be set to 10 to make it burn the same way as version 3.0.0.87. Or alternatively you can change the tank size to a lower value

Tyre wear works totally different. There are no Tyre Throttle Profiles. See YouTube video.

Practice, Qualifying and Race are the three types of session.

An event consists of either a single session or a combination of two or three sessions.

A Series consists of multiple Events.

There are no major changes to the way pace cars work. However, the code in the program has been changed and improved.

To use Smart sensors you need to do a firmware upgrade via RCS64.

It is possible to mix Scorpius controllers with standard Scalextric and other controllers.

You need to enable you controller in the controller tab

Damage points for each driver are selected in the Driver/Car settings tab.

Available Throttle Profiles for each driver can be chosen in the Driver/Car settings tab.

You are able to export/import Cars, Drivers, Throttle Profiles and Tyre wear profiles.

Auto Pit is now possible. Go into the pit lane (must have pit lane sensing) stop still for X time and the pit menu opens automatically.

Only use Dashboard Sorting if you have a powerfull PC, otherwise you may feel a delay between the throttle and the car.

You can choose to make your own driver sounds and upload them to RCS64..

New in v4 - Driver positions announcement.

New in v4 - Active startmenu prior to the race. Drivers can change tyre types depending on weather conditions, and also acknowledge that they are ready to race.

today first Race, works very good. Difficult if you with out fuel the car lost in one moment the normal power, and if one directly behind it crash. Have nice Race .
Good Work.

Hi Balu,

Glad you like it and yes I also find running our of fuel a problem - crawling back to the pits at safe speed before you get rear ended >:( Slightly easier on my track than your giant track :)

Slowly we get a feeling for the work.
What most disturb is that the braking performance changes quite early.
It would be good if only until 50% tire wear will change the braking performance. The background is that you can not drive a race with the soft tires, except the wear in soft is set to low, but then keep almost as long as the hard tires. Since the different tires do not make sense.
After I have all security programs and antivirus disabled, the program also reacts with 6 riders quite well.

Hi Friedhelm,
I understand what you say, but soft tyres do wear faster in real life. The advantage of softs is that throttle delay is 0.
I can make my fastest laps on soft because of that.
If you want to make sure people use soft, limit the amount of sets in a race. For example make 1 set softs available for a race and make it a rule people have to use it.

On our Track the Soft Tyre can run only two laps fast, than the brake is more bad then with use hard tyre, they work for ten laps.
If we change the settings on soft tyre the different is less and you can run always the soft tyre.
But for real race i do not find a good setting, so that different tyres make different strategy and all can be good for a real race.
Like:
Take hard tyre, save fuel and do one pit stop less
But the different was alltime to big or to less , so that only one Tyretyp make sense.
Maybe you have a good setting. let me know
Please do not misunderstand, the program is great, this is a suggestion for improvement

Freidhelm
How is your brake point set?
And do you run with dynamic brakes?

At moment we had 3 Brakepoint, with this placement it is the best solution, we test it with 2 Brackpoints, then the Tyreware is to much. The Reason is that the driver who drive carefull or newcomer need 3 Brakepoint on the Track, if you go faster you need 4-8 Brackpoints. So the faster Driver need more tyreware . That work good.
I do not find a solution that the different between Hard and Soft Tyre works like we envisage.
By the sampling we find out ,for our belief, that the performans change to erlay.
We belief when the change of the performans startest after the Tyreware is up 50%. It is more lifelike
It is not a Bigpoint , but if you find a sulotion it is fine
We do not use dynamic Brake

Have you tried to turn down the brake delay?

We try two setting and change the Brake delay for hard tyre but in the end
the Setting "Nomagnetti"  feeling best between the tyre Soft and hard.
If i understand it right is the brake delay only the time is going on before the brake work, or?
The tyreware is setting in the tyreware per lap or?
