"X" boxes on Single Event screen?

I've been wondering what the small checkbox-looking things are at the very far right of each driver/car listed at the bottom right of the Single Event screen are for? Sometimes they're empty, and sometimes they have an X in them.

They indicate Dynamic braking if a cross is present.
