Issues with version 4 / Re: Bug Reporting

Pace car spped up while race not is on:
I have actually heard off this problem before, but both Andy and I wasent able to reproduce this fault on our setup. Can you describe you setup, so I can narrow dowh what is going wrong. Like havemade Throttle calibration or using special throttle profiles etc..

Martin
I see this pace car speed up every time after the pacers have completed the race but other cars have not yet finished - nothing special in my setup.

I have race finishes - "all cars on same lap" but the race doesn't finsh if any deslotted car has not been replaced on the track - the Race is waiting for this missing car to pass the S/F line. In this case the pacers continue to speed up until they deslot.

Cheers. Looks like you don't even need to understand Java programming to use it. Will have a play around with it.

car six shows as pace car even all the time.. i have double checked to make sure that  control is power on no other problems noted with the other 5. they are working correct.
I see this as well. Drivers 1,2,3 & 6 are humans; 4&5 are pacers:

Hi Martin,
Good idea to create a dedicated forum.  :)

Yesterday I managed to cajole all the family to test the new version in proper racing conditions. It performed faultlessly.

We had 4 racers and 2 pacers. Two wireless controllers + one Scorpius controller(v9.9) and one normal wired controller. RCS64 was very smooth. To keep it simple for newbie racers, we didn't use weather, tyres & pit. I did all the button pressing, but that was easy as I had set it all up beforehand and most importantly I had set the max power for each car to minimise the usual carnage. Also, it was easy to see the laps & positions at a glance.

The combination of RCS64, pacers and XLC-Pro (alpha test version) with anti-collision and auto lane change was perfect - it really enhances the racing for casual racers - much more fluid. The rest of the family found it much more enjoyable than the last time (more than 2 years ago). Fingers crossed that XLC-Pro sees the light of day soon, but I haven't heard anything for more than 4 months now.

Thanks for all your work on producing this new version and taking the time to perfect it. Good luck with the official release on Friday.

Cheers,
Chris
