Thanks WebWolf for a great suggestion, it will make things a lot easier for me :) Really glad it was an easy fix for Martin also.

Sorry, I took the v3 manual off the website - I will put it back until I manage to write a new one.

Yes 1 second is the lowest that it will go. One of the first beta testing versions allowed you to set it to less than 1 second but it caused problems with something else, I can't remember what.

And setting to 0 seconds does what you say. Just remember to check that your saved events don't have it set to 0, or you will keep having the same problem. Believe me I know I've been there ::)

Future Development / Re: more visual change in fuel level
« on: December 08, 2014, 09:05:34 PM »
In my opinion -

Gauges although visually pleasing are inaccurate.

The numerical value enables you to accurately assess how much fuel you have left and enables you to calculate how many laps you will be able to do with the remaining fuel load.

Often I will be left with less than 5% of fuel left at the end of a race. With gauges I probably would not risk running out of fuel and would just make a visit to the pits.

So definitely no gauges for me, however an improved system of using colour, such as is used with Tyre wear, would be useful.

Hi James and Martin,

Number 4 should read ' Within a few seconds press UPDATE and RCS64 will start updating the firmware.

The update button can be seen at the top of the screen.

Hope this makes things a little clearer.
